I grew up on Chebeague Island immersed in the natural ebb and flow of the world around me- from the calm of a soft summer day to the violence of wind, thunder and rain. I am a self taught artist from a long line of creative people - boat builders to folk artists.
I began in oils, on canvas or board; but have branched out to water color, acrylic and occasional driftwood creations, but have recently found a love for egg tempura on claybord.
Inspiration flows from many things, the sea of course, but everyday objects pop up in different lights some times.
